Victor Robles Returns To Nationals Lineup
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles (knee) is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday and is hitting eighth against Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Rich Hill. Robles suffered a right knee contusion after being hit by a pitch on Sunday, but he was able to come off the bench in Monday's game. Aside from some speed (seven steals) and on-base ability (.344), Robles has been a huge disappointment with a .223 batting average, no home runs and just eight RBI in 220 plate appearances this year. He's hitting .133 (2-for-15) with six strikeouts in the last week and has also hit just .188/.381/.229 with no homers or RBI in 63 plate appearances against southpaws in 2021, so fantasy managers should look for better daily options with more upside.
