Noah Syndergaard Does Some Light Jogging
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) did some light jogging in the outfield before the first game of the team's doubleheader on Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Syndergaard was shut down for six weeks in late-May after experiencing a setback with his surgically repaired right elbow during a rehab start in the minor leagues, and it's still unknown whether he's close to resuming a throwing program. The 28-year-old right-hander has yet to pitch in 2021, but this could mean that he's getting close to throwing again. Because of Thor's strikeout upside, he's still worth stashing in the majority of fantasy formats for whenever he can finally return to New York's starting rotation.
