Rashod Bateman Hasn't Looked Like A Rookie
4 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Rashod Bateman, the first of the team's first-round picks this year, has not looked like a rookie during offseason workouts, and the players and coaches have praised him. There were questions following the draft about where Bateman would fit in the team's wide receiver hierarchy and how quickly he could make an impact. But he's given the Ravens every reason to believe he'll be a significant contributor from Day 1. There will still be skepticism because of the team's run-heavy approach and their history with young receivers, but there is an added emphasis on the passing game in Baltimore in 2021. Former first-rounder Marquise Brown has disappointed, so there is opportunity for Bateman to become the team's No. 1 wideout. He has top-30 potential based on his talent, but the expected low volume will keep his ADP low. There's potential for some nice value here, though, if everything goes Bateman's way.
