Danny Duffy Will Come Off Injured List And Start Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals left-hander Danny Duffy (forearm) will be activated from the injured list on Wednesday in order to make the start against the New York Yankees. Duffy has been sidelined since May 12 with a left forearm flexor strain, so even though he's sporting an excellent 1.94 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings over seven innings, he'll be a pretty risky fantasy option in his start against the Bronx Bombers on Wednesday. The 32-year-old southpaw will most likely be on a pitch count in his first start back from the injured list as well. Another reason to be way of starting Duffy in his first start back is the fact that this game is on the road at Yankee Stadium.
