3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brett Anderson (knee) injured his knee while batting in the top of the second inning of Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He came out to pitch in the bottom of the second inning, but was removed before he could finish the inning. His day ended after he'd pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed five hits, no walks and three earned runs while striking out one. After the game, it was revealed that the initial diagnosis for Anderson was a bone bruise. The team will likely be watching him closely over the following week. As of now, his next start is scheduled for Sunday against the Colorado Rockies.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
