New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres (back) is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Torres was forced to exit Thursday's game with a stiff back, though manager Aaron Boone told reporters postgame that he didn't believe it would be a serious injury. The 24-year-old shortstop was seen taking grounders on the field ahead of Friday night's contest and will start at short, batting third against Athletics' righty James Kaprielian.--Tim Capurso
