Jamal Adams, Seahawks Expected To Get Contract Done
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that he's confident the team will get a long-term contract extension worked out with All-Pro safety Jamal Adams, who was excused from mandatory minicamp this week for personal reasons. Carroll also said the team expects Adams to be present for training camp at the end of July. Adams is due $9.86 million in the final year of his deal in 2021. The 25-year-old has been regarded as one of the top safeties in the league because of his versatility, and he has been named to three straight Pro Bowls in his four NFL seasons. Adams is an elite pass-rushing defensive back, which is why he should be the top defensive back off the board in IDP drafts.
