Max Kepler To Rejoin Team For Series Against Rangers
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (hamstring) will rejoin the club for their upcoming series against the Texas Rangers. Kepler had missed a little over two weeks with a strained left hamstring, though his rehab assignment reportedly went well. He appeared in three games for the Triple-A St. Paul Saints, going 1-for-11 with a strikeout. Kepler posted a .773 OPS with all five of his home runs this season coming in May, as he was seemingly heating up before his injury. He figures to spend most of his time in center field until Byron Buxton (hip) is ready to return, at which time he should return to his usual spot in right field.
