3 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Willi Castro hit his second home run of the month and fifth home run of the year in Monday's 10-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. The home run was Castro's only hit of the game as he went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. Castro had a rough first two months of the year, slashing .200/.234/.289 in April and .217/.319/.383 in May. However, so far through June, he's shown some signs of coming around. Over 12 games this month, he has a .270/.341/.486 slash line with five walks compared to eight strikeouts. He can remain on waivers in all leagues for now, but deep league managers and AL-only managers should keep an eye on him.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
