J.P. Feyereisen Appears To Have Joined Rays' Closer Committee
Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher J.P. Feyereisen earned his third save since joining Tampa Bay on Monday afternoon, allowing one hit with one strikeout in a scoreless inning of work against the Yankees. In the week and a half that Feyereisen has been in Tampa Bay after being acquired in the deal that sent Willy Adames to Milwaukee, he now owns a 1.50 ERA with six strikeouts in six innings, and is 3-for-4 in save opportunities. Granted, this is the Tampa Bay bullpen we're talking about and it does seem like they'll likely have a committee of some sort between Feyereisen, Diego Castillo and Pete Fairbanks, but that being said managers should look to grab Feyereisen off the waiver-wire this week.
