Jordan Yamamoto Pulled From Sunday's Game With Sore Shoulder
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto (shoulder) was removed from Sunday's game against his former team, the Miami Marlins, due to right shoulder soreness. He pitched four innings and allowed six hits, two walks and five runs (four earned) before exiting. He only managed to record two strikeouts in the game. We don't know anything about the severity of the injury at this point, but should have more information soon. Sunday's start was just his second start of the year. He's a candidate to start on Friday against the Atlanta Braves if the injury proves to be minor.
