Marcus Stroman Falls Victim To The Long Ball
New York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman allowed three home runs, amounting to five earned runs, in six innings pitched on Sunday in the Mets' 7-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Coming into Sunday's contest, Stroman had allowed only three home runs all season. It was a rough start for Stroman who only recorded one strikeout while allowing six hits and one walk. Stroman's record fell to 3-4, while his ERA jumped from 2.01 to 2.72 on the season. Despite the poor outing, Stroman is proving to be a valuable member of the Mets' rotation and fantasy rotations. He should remain active in all formats for his next scheduled start against the Marlins on Saturday in Miami.
