Brandon Nimmo's Rehab Assignment Shut Down
4 years agoThe New York Mets have shut down the rehab assignment for outfielder Brandon Nimmo (finger). Nimmo has continued to experience pain in his finger and the team wants to keep him sidelined until he is completely pain-free. Nimmo has been out since May 2. As he remains out, Kevin Pillar and Dominic Smith will continue to see increased playing time. Nimmo was slashing .318/.430/.439 with one home run, eight RBI, seven runs and two stolen bases over 21 games before the injury.
