4 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres is still testing positive for COVID-19, per manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees expressed optimism on Friday that Torres would be able to return sooner than the standard 10-day quarantine period- though it can't happen until he accumulates a couple of negative tests. Tyler Wade will continue to handle the reps at shortstop in Torre's absence. Wade is batting ninth on Saturday.--Tim Capurso
