Jose Urquidy To Miss Next Start
4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jose Urquidy (shoulder) is not expected to pitch in the upcoming series against the Athletics, per manager Dusty Baker. Urquidy was forced to leave his most recent start early with a shoulder injury, though the MRI revealed no significant damage. Still, it's something that is bothering the 25-year-old enough that he won't be able to toe the rubber for his next scheduled outing. It's unlikely at this point that Urquidy will require a stint on the injured list, though fantasy managers should still monitor the situation closely. The Astros have tentatively listed their starters for the upcoming series- Cristian Javier, Zack Greinke, and Luis Garcia.
