Landry Shamet Hits Five Threes, Leads Nets In Scoring

Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Landry Shamet broke out of a recent cold streak in a big way on Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs. Shamet shot 7-for-9 from the field, including 5-for-7 from downtown, on the way to a team-high 21 points. He also had three rebounds, one assist and one block. He logged a team-high 35 minutes in the game. Shamet had gone 0-for-9 from three-point range over his previous three games, so this was a much-needed scoring outburst for him. James Harden made his return to the court in the game and his presence likely helped clear up shooting space for Shamet. Next up for Shamet and the Nets is a matchup against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
