Alex Reyes Earns A Win With Two Scoreless Innings
4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Alex Reyes earned a win in Tuesday's victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, improving his record to 2-0. Reyes did not allow a hit in his two innings and struck out five, but he also walked three and threw just 17 of his 28 pitches for strikes, mixing in a wild pitch as well. Reyes has been struggling with control all season, but has somehow managed to keep his ERA a pristine 0.47. The regression is coming, and it's going to hit hard, but for now it's been fun to watch the tightrope act known as Alex Reyes at the end of Cardinals games.
