4 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (hamstring) was activated from the injured list and will be on the mound to face the Nationals on Wednesday. Fried hasn't pitched since April 13 and had struggled in his most recent start, allowing seven earned runs to the Marlins- though he reportedly worked on his mechanics and impressed during a live batting practice session last week. The southpaw will face a Juan Soto-less Nationals lineup but is on a 75-80 pitch limit, making him a less appealing DFS target. Fantasy managers who were burned by Fried's rough start might do well to take a wait-and-see approach with the lefty in their season-long lineups--Tim Capurso
