Andrei Svechnikov Extends Point Streak To Five Games
4 years agoCarolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov racked up a trio of points to help lead the way as his team defeated the visiting Chicago Blackhawks 6-3 on Tuesday night. The 21-year-old stuffed the scoresheet in this one - recording two goals, one assist, a plus-two rating, three shots and four hits in just 15:45 of ice time in the contest. After an up-and-down campaign, Svechnikov is getting hot when it counts and now has a five-game point streak to show for it. The skilled Russian winger now has 42 points (15 goals, 27 assists), 17 power-play points, 144 shots and 110 hits in 53 contests.
