Byron Buxton Steals Fourth Base Of Season
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton collected a walk, a run scored, and a stolen base in Monday's 6-5 win over the Rangers. Buxton worked an eight-pitch walk in the bottom of the sixth inning, then stole second before coming around to score on an Alex Kirilloff RBI double. The 27-year-old stole just one base in the first 17 games of the season but has swiped three in the last week alone and seems to be rolling on the basepaths now. A 30-homer, 30-stolen base season is certainly within his range of outcomes if health stays on his side.
