Mike Yastrzemski To Miss Time With Oblique Strain

San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (oblique) will likely miss at least five to six games due to a mild oblique strain, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Manager Gabe Kapler said that the team is hopeful Yastrzemski will not need a stint on the injured list, but if he's out for more than six games it's likely Yastrzemski will end up on the IL due to the team's depleted bench. Yastrzemski had gotten off to a slow start to the year, but had heated up at the plate over his last five games, slashing .278/.350/.722 with two home runs in that span. Darin Ruf will likely see an uptick in playing time with Yastrzemski out, but Ruf's value in fantasy is very limited.
