Gio Urshela Collects Two Extra-Base Hits

New York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela had a great night at the plate in a 3-1 victory over the Braves. Urshela went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double. The 29-year-old doubled in his first at-bat, then crushed a 437-foot homer off of Charlie Morton, which registered an exit velocity of 109 MPH. Urshela now has five hits in his last five games- and seems to be heating up with a matchup against Braves' right-hander Ian Anderson coming up on Wednesday. Anderson has a 5.24 expected ERA and has allowed a 12.2 percent barrel rate so far in 2021.
