Jameson Taillon Solid In No-Decision
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon authored perhaps his best start as a member of his new team despite not factoring into the decision. Taillon tossed five innings of one-run ball, surrendering four hits and a walk while fanning five batters. He induced 10 whiffs, eight of them on his four-seam fastball, which was also his putaway pitch on three of his five punchouts. After allowing a home run in each of his first two starts, Taillon notably kept the ball in the park, though he's still in search of his first win. He'll look to build on this promising effort in his next outing on April 25 against the Indians.
