Kenley Jansen Notches Fourth Save
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Kenley Jansen worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning to notch his fourth save of the season on Tuesday. Jansen came into the ninth with the Dodgers holding onto a 1-0 lead- and made it look easy, setting down the top-three in the Mariners' order in a scoreless frame while registering two strikeouts. The veteran closer has four of his team's seven saves this season and has a 2.25 ERA. He remains one of the best closing options in fantasy baseball, given that he plays on one of the best teams, if not the best, in the league. The Dodgers will continue to monitor his usage, though he should have no trouble hitting the 30-save mark provided he stays healthy.
