Jakob Junis Records First Win On Thursday
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Jakob Junis had a solid outing against the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday. Junis pitched five innings and allowed five hits, one walk and two earned runs while striking out six. He earned his first win of the year. Junis is off to a strong start to the season. He began the year in the bullpen, before moving to the starting rotation last week. In his previous start, he threw five shutout innings against the Cleveland Indians. Junis may not go too deep into games, but he should help fantasy managers with ratios. He's worth rostering in all deep leagues and AL-only leagues. His next start will be on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
