AJ Pollock Day-To-Day With Groin Injury
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder AJ Pollock (groin) suffered a groin injury while running down the first base line early on in Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies. He managed to play through the injury at first, but was later removed as Gavin Lux (wrist), who is also nursing an injury, came in as a pinch runner. Pollock is being considered day-to-day. Pollock went 2-for-4 on Thursday night, recording his first multi-hit game of the year. Over 11 games on the year, Pollock is slashing .256/.310/.308 with two doubles, four RBI and five runs. He's still searching for his first home run. Pollock is in a bit of a platoon situation right now, but he's starting more often than not. We could see his playing time dip a good amount once Cody Bellinger (calf) is back. Pollock is only worth roster consideration in deep leagues and NL-only leagues at this point.
