Jorge Polanco Drives In Two
4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco went 1-for-3 with a two-run single in a 3-2 loss to the Red Sox, the first game of a doubleheader. Polanco had just five hits in 42 at-bats heading into the contest, so it was nice to see him come through with runners in scoring position, a potential booster to his confidence in the early going of the season. Still, his start is a bit concerning, given his high (for him) strikeout rate, but abnormally low launch angle and BABIP marks point to an early-season slump, which Polanco can certainly bust out of with good health on his side.
