4 years agoThe Chicago Cubs have activated catcher Austin Romine (knee) from the injured list. He will make his 2021 debut on Wednesday against Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers. Romine will be the team's backup catcher behind Willson Contreras. Expect to see Romine start about once or twice per week going forward. Romine spent the 2020 season with the Detroit Tigers and was the team's primary catcher. He slashed .238/.259/.323 with two home runs and 17 RBI over 37 games last year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
