X-Rays On Michael Conforto's Wrist Come Back Negative
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto (wrist) was hit in the wrist by a pitch from Jose Alvarado that was clocked at 100 mph in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies. He remained in the game, but sat out the second game of the doubleheader. Luckily, X-rays on Conforto's wrist have come back negative. He should be considered day-to-day with a decent chance to play in Wednesday's game. Conforto is off to a sluggish start to the year, slashing .130/.286/.174 through six games.
