Aaron Hicks Sitting Out Monday's Game In Protest
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is sitting out Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in protest of the Daunte Wright police shooting. Mike Tauchman is playing center field in his place and batting ninth. Yankees manager Aaron Boone also said that Giancarlo Stanton is considering sitting out in protest as well. As of now, however, Stanton is slotted into the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Hicks is off to a slow start to the year, slashing .129/.250/.226 with one home run, five RBI and three runs. Make sure to get him out of your lineups.
