Miami Marlins catcher Jorge Alfaro (hamstring) hasn't played in a few days and could be on his way to the injured list, according to manager Don Mattingly. Sunday's Marlins-Mets game was postponed after nine pitches due to rain, but Alfaro wasn't in the lineup anyway. Chad Wallach has been starting in his place, but the Marlins will likely call up Sandy Leon and have him and Wallach split time behind the plate until Alfaro returns. Alfaro's had a rough start to the season, batting .214/.267/.214 while doing an awful job behind the plate.--David A Marcillo
