Seahawks Re-Sign Damarious Randall
4 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks re-signed cornerback Damarious Randall to an undisclosed deal on Friday. The plan is for Randall to move back to cornerback, the position he played in the first three seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers. The first-rounder out of Arizona State in 2015 was a safety in college but was moved to cornerback in his rookie season, starting 30 of 39 games while recording 10 interceptions, 32 passes defensed and 144 tackles in his first three seasons. He made the move back to safety when he was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2018. Randall spent training camp with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 and then signed to Seattle's practice squad in September. He played in 10 games for the Seahawks last year but mostly played on special teams.
