Quinton Dunbar Signs With Lions
4 years agoFormer Seattle Seahawks defensive back Quinton Dunbar signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the Detroit Lions on Monday, according to his agent. Dunbar played in only six games for Seattle last year because of a knee injury that required season-ending surgery. The 28-year-old had one interception and five passes defensed last season. The Lions have been focusing on improving their secondary this offseason, and they also added cornerback Corn Elder last week. Detroit will continue to address the secondary through the draft as well. Dunbar made 25 starts over five seasons with the Washington Football Team after they signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Florida in 2015. Dunbar started his NFL career as a wide receiver and was moved to cornerback as a rookie. He has 10 career interceptions and a sack in six NFL seasons.
