Fernando Tatis Jr. Exits Game With Left Shoulder Subluxation
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) suffered a left shoulder subluxation while swinging at a pitch on Monday night, according to The Athletic's Dennis Lin. Tatis fell to the ground after a swinging strike three, and left the game shortly after with trainers. He will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, and there is no word of how long this could keep him out. However, it is worth noting this could cost Tatis a significant amount of time, looking at the example of Adalberto Mondesi who suffered a shoulder subluxation in 2019 that caused him to miss nearly six weeks late in the year. Managers should hope for the best, but prepare to be without Tatis for some time.
