Austin Hays Placed On Injured List With Hamstring Injury
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. The Orioles recalled Ryan McKenna in a corresponding move. Hays left Sunday's game in the third inning after diving into second base while running out a double. Hays has been plagued by numerous injuries for several years. He made his MLB debut in 2017, but has only played in a total of 77 MLB games since. Last year, he slashed .279/.328/.393 with four home runs, 20 runs and two stolen bases over 33 games. He has the potential to be a solid all-around fantasy contributor if he can stay healthy and consistent.
