Norman Powell With Solid Two-Way Effort In Blowout Win
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Norman Powell put up a solid effort on both ends of the court in a 133-85 win over the Thunder on Saturday. Powell recorded 15 points, four rebounds, three steals, two three-pointers, and an assist in just 24 minutes. The 27-year-old shot 6-for-13 from the field after posting just a 33.3 percent mark in his last game. Powell's scoring has dropped a bit since joining Portland, though the team has been involved in blowouts one way or the other- which likely has a lot to do with it. He'll get a tricky matchup on Monday against the Clippers, who have been tough on small forwards.
