Victor Reyes Goes 2-for-3 Monday
4 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Victor Reyes went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Monday's 5-2 victory over the New York Yankees. Reyes is now 9-for-31 with four RBI and one stolen base this spring. While Reyes was leading off in this one, it seems likely he could split some time in the outfield since the Tigers elected to keep Akil Baddoo as they break camp and head back to Detroit later this week. If Reyes has the opportunity to start, it is likely he would provide value to many fantasy rosters as he provides a nice mixture of speed and average with a bit of power as noted by his 2020 season in which he hit .277 while stealing eight bags and hitting four home runs across 202 at-bats. He currently has an ADP of 270 and could make for a decent late-round flier if given the opportunity.
