Josh Donaldson Rips Two Extra-Base Hits Against Red Sox
4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and two RBI in a 7-4 win over Boston on Thursday. Donaldson got the Twins started in the first inning with a double- he then scored on a Byron Buxton double. In his second at-bat, the 35-year-old smashed an upstairs offering over the left-field wall for his second spring home run. Donaldson now has eight hits in 10 games- three of them for extra bases- and he's had several hard-hit balls that have gone for outs too. While the Twins plan to limit his usage early on, that might be a good thing for his fantasy managers if it ultimately keeps him on the field. He's looking like a good value at his 176 ADP.
