Mitch Garver Leaves Game With Bruised Finger
4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver (finger) left Thursday's Grapefruit League game in the third inning after fouling a ball off his left hand. The Twins are calling it a left finger contusion, which wouldn't be a serious ailment at all for the 30-year-old backstop. Garver has had a bit of a quiet spring, though he's shown flashes at times of the player who broke out in a big way in 2019. The bruised finger isn't expected to keep him out of the Opening Day lineup.
