Anthony Rizzo Has Three-Hit Day In Friday's Win
4 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo continued his strong spring in Friday's win over the Athletics. Rizzo collected three hits, driving in two runs for the Cubs on a two-out double and a single. The 31-year-old is batting .400 with 10 hits, three home runs, and eight RBI in 10 Cactus League games. Rizzo had a down year in the shortened 2020 season, but his track record and underlying metrics suggest a rebound year. The 31-year-old has averaged 89 runs scored, 29 home runs, 103 RBI, 76 walks, and a .285 batting average over the last four full seasons. There's nothing to suggest that Rizzo has fallen off a cliff, so it's worth taking the chance on him at his 94 ADP.
