4 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (back) and small/power forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (foot) have been deemed doubtful to play in Friday's game versus Memphis. Curry departed Wednesday's game early due to the injury and was unable to practice Thursday, neither of which bodes well for his immediate status. Nico Mannion and Jordan Poole would likely stand to see the largest increases in backcourt playing time, while Draymond Green's assists potential would skyrocket in the likely case that Curry is unavailable. Oubre's absence would mark just his third of the year and pave the way for Kent Bazemore, Damion Lee and Juan Toscano-Anderson to see elevated roles and offensive usage. Barring a last-minute change, fantasy managers can anticipate Green and Andrew Wiggins leading the way for Golden State on Friday.--Jesse Borek

21 hours agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is questionable for Friday's game in New Orleans. The veteran has missed the last two games after suffering a pelvic contusion in a recent win over the Toronto Raptors. Brandin Podziemski has been handling most of the duties at the one, with the 22-year-old most recently amassing 14 points and two steals in Tuesday's loss to the Miami Heat. If Curry remains sidelined, Podziemski, Jimmy Butler III, Jonathan Kuminga, and Draymond Green should benefit the most offensively, although there's room for added production from Moses Moody and Buddy Hield.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 days agoAccording to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) will be out of action against the Miami Heat on Tuesday. He will be out for a second consecutive game due to a pelvic contusion. Curry practiced on Monday but is now expected to return Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. With the superstar guard on the shelf this evening, Brandon Podziemski, Moses Moody, and Buddy Hield will be relied upon to contribute more. Moody had one of his best games of the season on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, finishing a 124-115 loss with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists, one block, and two steals in 35 minutes of work.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

3 days agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is considered questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Miami Heat. He could be out for a second consecutive game due to a pelvic contusion. Curry practiced on Monday, which is a good sign regarding his potential return. However, he has not yet been officially cleared. Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, and Buddy Hield must contribute more with Curry out of the lineup. Moody had one of his best games of the season on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, finishing a 124-115 loss with 20 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

6 days agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is out for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The multi-time All-Star had 17 points in Thursday's three-point win over the Toronto Raptors. However, he sustained a pelvic contusion after a hard fall and was ruled out after just 25 minutes of work. Curry underwent an MRI, which didn't reveal any structural damage. But the contusion could be enough to keep him off the floor for at least a few games. Without him, Brandin Podziemski will likely take over at the one, increasing his fantasy potential. Jonathan Kuminga, Jimmy Butler III, and Moses Moody should also see more scoring opportunities.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
