4 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko backstopped his team to a 2-1 shootout victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Monday, earning his eight win of the campaign. The 25-year-old was brilliant in this one - allowing just one goal and 30 shots against and stopping all three shots faced in the shootout. Demko has been one of the hottest fantasy in March thus far, posting four wins, a 0.98 goals-against average and a .969 save percentage in four starts. He's taken over the starting role in Vancouver and, as a result, his fantasy ownership (62% in Yahoo! leagues) will only continue to climb.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
