Kevin Hayes Stays Hot With Two Points On Thursday
4 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers center Kevin Hayes tallied a pair of assists on Thursday, but his production wasn't enough as his team fell in a 5-4 shootout to the Boston Bruins. With the multi-point performance, the 28-year-old jumped into the Flyers team lead with seven points (two goals, five assists) through the first five games of the season. Playing a bigger role with center Sean Couturier sidelined for a few weeks due to injury, Hayes has now collected at least one point in four of his team's five contests to start the campaign. Just 45% owned in Yahoo! leagues, the Massachusetts native should be considered a priority pickup for at least the short term.
