Deshaun Watson's Heroic Effort Falls Just Short
4 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 28 of 39 passes for 365 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in a 41-38 loss to the Titans. Down 24-9, Watson proceeded to lead his team to three scoring drives, two of which ended with touchdown passes to Brandin Cooks. The Texans may have gone 4-12, but it was no fault of their star quarterback, whose numbers are incredible- career-highs in yards, 4,823 and touchdowns, 33, as well as completion percentage and yards per attempt. Watson is a superstar- and we can only hope the Texans figure things out this offseason for his sake. As for fantasy, the 25-year-old combines a rocket arm with sneaky-good rushing ability and deserves to be one of the first five signal-callers off the board in 2021.
