Julio Jones Ruled Out For Week 16

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring), cornerback Darqueze Dennard (quadriceps), center Alex Mack (concussion) and guard James Carpenter (groin) were ruled out for Week 16 against the Chiefs. This will be Jones' third straight missed game, making it unlikely that we see the veteran All-Pro wideout the rest of the season. Calvin Ridley has been a must-start fantasy asset even when Jones was in the lineup, while Russell Gage should have WR3/flex appeal after seeing 17 targets in the last two games with Jones on the sidelines. The Kansas City defense has been surprisingly good against opposing receivers this year, but the Falcons will likely have to air it out to keep up with the Chiefs high-powered offense. Both Mack and Carpenter being out is bad news for quarterback Matt Ryan and the team's rushing attack.
