K.J. Hamler Shouldn't Be Owned In Single-Year Formats
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler broke out for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 14 win over the Panthers. But he had just two catches on three targets, proving to be an outlier, especially after he caught just one of four targets last Saturday against the Bills for four yards. Hamler has 35 yards or fewer in four of his last five games as the fourth or fifth target for second-year quarterback Drew Lock. The 21-year-old might be able to roast Chargers cornerback Chris Harris Jr. for a play or two this weekend, but there's no guarantee that Lock will be able to hit him. Overall this year, LA's defense has been pretty solid against opposing wideouts, although they have allowed some big chunk plays. Hamler will be a desperation WR4/5 in the deepest of leagues in Week 16.
