Matthew Stafford Passes For 252 Yards In Blowout Loss
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 22-of-32 passes for 252 yards with one touchdown in the Lions deflating 46-25 loss to the Titans in Week 15. Stafford entered the game with torn ligaments in his throwing thumb and injured ribs and was pulled from the game with nine minutes to go after the score hit 39-18. The veteran guided the Lions down the field for a 14-play drive, culminating in a two-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Jones Jr. But the Titans offense dominated the Lions and the game quickly became out of reach. With the Lions far out of the playoff picture, it is fair to ponder Stafford's future heading into these final two games of the season.
