Ronald Jones II May Have A Fractured Pinkie
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that running back Ronald Jones II (pinkie) might have suffered a fractured pinkie finger in the Week 14 win over the Vikings on Sunday. The team is waiting to see if Jones needs to have a pin inserted. This is surely something to watch heading into Week 15 against the Falcons, as Jones has clearly taken over as the team's lead back. He saw 18 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota, while Leonard Fournette was a healthy scratch. The matchup against Atlanta isn't the best one, as the Falcons have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position. But Jones should be at least an RB2 if he plays through the injury. If he needs surgery and cannot play, LeSean McCoy and Fournette would likely split the backfield work.
