4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (quadriceps, shoulder) was not seen for the portion of practice on Thursday open to the media. It's been one thing after another for McCaffrey, who was the first overall pick in the vast majority of fantasy drafts. He tweaked his quad at practice last week and is now in danger of missing his fourth straight game in Week 14 against the Broncos. The All-Pro running back will have to at least practice on a limited basis on Friday to have a chance at suiting up. If he's active, he's a no-doubt, high-end RB1 in the first round of the fantasy playoffs. Backup Mike Davis would have RB2 appeal yet again if McCaffrey continues to be sidelined. Denver's defense was good against the run early in the season, but they've slipped of late and have allowed 580 rushing yards in the last five weeks (third-most in the NFL).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
