Matt Wiman Suffers Massive Knockout Loss
4 years agoA long-time veteran of the UFC who made his debut when his opponent was 11 years old, Matt Wiman first fought inside the Octagon in May of 2006 at UFC 60. Prior to this bout, Wiman had lost two of his previous three bouts. On fight day, three fights fell apart due to different medical reasons, thus moving up the Wiman versus Jordan Leavitt bout to the main card. Unfortunately for Wiman, he was unable to take advantage of the opportunity and suffered a 22-second knockout. With UFC President Dana White recently stating there will be "significant" cutbacks, it's possible Wiman may be on the way out after this bout.
